Paul corrects this notion by teaching that such wisdom is spiritual in two senses of the word: 1. God’s wisdom does not come from intellectual inquiry but through revelation from God’s Spirit. Only the Spirit, who “searches all things, even the deep things of God” (2:10), knows the thoughts of God (v. 11).
